From 20 September, Michelin-starred chef Heiko Nieder invites guests on a unique culinary journey through time in the pop-up Art Deco restaurant, which offers a perfect blend of modern cuisine and the recipes of the great Auguste Escoffier.

Another dazzling highlight of the Dolder Grand’s anniversary year: Michelin-star chef and Culinary Director Heiko Nieder invites his guests into a world of exquisite culinary delights with “The Grand Heritage”. Inspired by the masterpieces of the legendary Auguste Escoffier, the founder of Grande Cuisine, Heiko Nieder has created dishes that perfectly blend classic and contemporary luxury cuisine.

The Art Deco-style restaurant creates a true “Grand Heritage” feel. In keeping with the customs of traditional luxury restaurants, the menus are in French, the fine silverware comes from the Dolder Grand’s historic stock and the service staff tend to guests in uniforms with a decidedly nostalgic air about them. The smooth electro swing adds the finishing touch to the ambience. An immersive experience that pays homage to the past, celebrates the present and offers a tantalising glimpse of the future.
